One of eighteen elements in the installation “Earth Altar III,” exhibited at the University of New Mexico Fine Arts Gallery, Albuquerque, NM. The piece includes a torn earth impression in clay overlayed with a “map,” consisting of two additional fired ceramic elements. Along with markings on the earth element, the “puzzle” presents an intuited route to universal consciousness.
